Yesterday we celebrated 19 whole years of marriage! We both worked from home that day and then we ended up going out and getting my favorite taco truck and then drinks at the Thirsty badger. It was pretty low-key and we both loved it. We went for a drive and then decided it was too early to go home so we ended up going to The Mill for a glass of wine and an old fashioned. Things seem to be going back to "normal" since the mask mandate just got lifted earlier in the month. I would have loved to go up to Canada and can't wait to go again. Maybe in the next couple of months the border will reopen without having to do covid testing and will be able to go and enjoy Vancouver Island. That would be so fun.
Crazy to think it's been 20 years since we said our vows on that stormy rainy day in March. This year we had plans to get a hotel in Lynnwood and galavant around Seattle for a few days. We ended up going to Herb Niemans on our anniversary, then to Boundary Bay for lunch the next day and we finished our anniversary weekend kidless in lynden. Amy & Bri ended up coming up and spending two days with mom. Saturday we left for the dahlia tuber sale then to El Suentio Brewery for lunch, a brisk walk in the cold wind out at birch bay and then a drink @ The Mill and dinner at Nami sushi. Our anniversary was filled with love and togetherness. We are so spoiled.
