I can't believe it. Why must it go by so fast? Little miss is so sweet and kind. She's happy all the time and loves loves loves her big sister. She's getting close to walking and is becoming quite the expert climber. Stairs, chairs, benches, boxes, pianos, dressers. The girl can't help but climb. The other day I let her nap on our bed...about forty five minutes later I went to check on her and she'd climbed on top of her dresser. AHHH she was reaching forward and would have fallen if I hadn't been there at that exact moment. She's doing a really great job on learning her signs. She's got all done, more, milk, blows kisses, and is learning mama, dada and water right now. I just love this little girl with all my heart. She's such a blessing to my family and I am so grateful that God has blessed me with her! We are having a birthday party this Sunday for Gabby. Should be fun, even though the house isn't quite back in order. We get our carpets on 09/18!! YA
We spent the long weekend with Amy, Jeremy, Christie, Grandma, Nate, the girls, and I at Rasar State park. Pretty plush camping if you asked me. We had our own cabins with heat, showers, sweet bunk beds. It made us want to buy land and downsize big time! Funny how a little weekend away makes one dream and set goals. We celebrated Jeremy's 40th birthday. He did great! He seemed to really enjoy the birthday steak that Grandma got him. It rained so hard on Saturday night. I woke up to it in the middle of the night. I layed there and let myself slowly drift off to the white noise. Grandma did her epic Easter Egg hunt at our place and this year she put money in all the eggs. Seriously, cash. I walked away with $50, Gwyn $13 and Nate $25. Not sure how much there was total but it was pretty epic!!
Ps. Our power was out from Saturday morning until early Tuesday morning. We lost some frozen food but other than that we had a blast :)
Crazy to think it's been 20 years since we said our vows on that stormy rainy day in March. This year we had plans to get a hotel in Lynnwood and galavant around Seattle for a few days. We ended up going to Herb Niemans on our anniversary, then to Boundary Bay for lunch the next day and we finished our anniversary weekend kidless in lynden. Amy & Bri ended up coming up and spending two days with mom. Saturday we left for the dahlia tuber sale then to El Suentio Brewery for lunch, a brisk walk in the cold wind out at birch bay and then a drink @ The Mill and dinner at Nami sushi. Our anniversary was filled with love and togetherness. We are so spoiled.
